This was a great shoot day put together by Producer !! provided and set up production EQ for this GQ editorial interview of Roger Federer by Zach Baron and photographed by Lachlan Bailey entitled, “Inside the Glorious Afterlife of Roger Federer,” in which Federer describes his life now two years after retiring, as well as his design work for .

The shoot/interview was captured at the iconic, Mount Olympus-esque James Goldstein Estate !

Our Key Assistants .stills & delivered and set up production equipment and let crew do their magic! At the end of the shoot, Key Assistant Jeffrey G. Rosenberg came to pick up the equipment and headed back to the shop.

Let’s celebrate some of the world’s wonderful women photographers this !

1. Florestine Perrault-Collins (1895-1988), one of the first major Black American female photographers, who portrayed domestic and anti-stereotypical Black American lifestyles; self-portrait.
2. Jennie Ross Cobb (1881-1959), one of the first known Native/Indigenous American female photographers; students in front of [Robert Latham] Owen School.
3. Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879), born to English & French parents in Kolkata, India, Cameron was an early & most important female photo portraitists of the 19th century; ”Ellen Terry at Age Sixteen.”
4. Dorothea Lange (1895-1965), a German-American photojournalist best known for her Depression-Era work for the Farm Security Association; “Migrant Mother, Nipoma”
5. Jessie Maple; Black American cinematographer & writer/director who fought for Civil Rights for Black women and Black Americans in general in the film industry; she became the first Black female inductee to the IATSE Local 644 (now ) Cinematographers’ Guild; photo taken by Maple’s husband filmmaker Leroy Patton.
6. Dalda 13 (Homai Vyarawalla) (1913-2012), India’s first known woman photojournalist; photo of Dalai Lama traveling through Nathu La in Sikkim.
7. Sara Goméz (1942-1974), one of Cuba’s first (Afro-Cubana) female filmmakers, with works such as “De Cierta Manera” and “Iré a Santiago.”
8. Nancy Sheung (1914-1979), one of few women photographers in 1960s-70s Hong Kong; Sheung primarily focused on female subjects; “The Pigtail.”
9. Eve Arnold (1912-2012), a Jewish American photojournalist who started out reporting on housing discrimination against Afro-migrant workers in Long Island and later photographed Civil Rights movements, activists, and others including Malcolm X, Josephine Baker, and Marilyn Monroe; Arnold was also the first woman photographer to join Agency; photo of Josephine Baker
10. Annie Leibovitz (1949-present), also Jewish American, lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Air Force, Leibovitz is one of the most famous & prolific portrait photographers in the world; photo of Yoko Ono and John Lennon.
