Gay Chorus Deep South - Vash Boddie
In response to a wave of discriminatory anti-LGBT laws and the divisive 2016 election, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus embarks on a tour of the American Deep South.
Directed by David Charles Rodrigues, "Gay Chorus Deep South" captures the Lavender Pen Tour, and is multi-state and larger than life story showing the power of music to promote acceptance and belonging.
Vash Boddie was at the Tribeca Film Festival for the world premiere of the Gay Chorus Deep South and spoke to the film's director and the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus artistic diretor Tim Seelig and executive director Chris Verdugo and surprise guest Lance Bass.
