When I was a kid, I always saw this cobalt blue Shirley Temple small pitcher in my grandmas curio cabinet. When she passed, I was supposed to get it but my cousin thought we didn’t deserve anything since she lived with her then. So, I think about it time to time..but just kinda shrugged it off..
Something pulled me to the Goodwill here in Southern Wisconsin, I normally don’t go in there much.. but I found a few things.. but turned the corner and saw not only my unicorn (the pitcher) there was a set! I never thought I’d really ever come across one..! Grandmas bday would be this month so maybe she gave me a little lead to go in there. 💚.

A few days ago, my boyfriend went to an estate sale at his uncle’s house, and came home with this bronze, glowing-eye cat lamp. From what he found online, it was apparently made in Austria and may be over 100 years old. It’s a little creepy, but we love it!

GUYS I FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO POST ABOUT!!!!!
Okay so! A little over a year ago, my dad brought home this cute glass turtle. I love sea turtles and my favorite color is blue so it’s like it was meant to be!
My dad brought it home from work… he works at the landfill… that’s relevant. 🤣
My husband JUST realized something… funny about my turtle.

Went to goodwill this morning just to get out for a few minutes. I headed for the Christmas section just as they were bringing out a cart of items. This was on there. I had never seen a ceramic tree like this and I grabbed it quickly. The employee said that when she saw it, she didn’t think it would last an hour on the shelf. Thanks to my good timing, it didn’t even make it to the shelf. (We don’t have bananas; I need to look for a ceramic one to use for scale.)

I'm so excited by my latest Facebook Marketplace find! I bought this for $60 from a woman who is moving to a smaller place and can't keep it. It's over 100 years old. This heavy beast was upstairs at her house and took 4 of us to move it. I have the best friends and the most awesome better half. I'll have to buy them lunch for the foreseeable future to repay them!
