"Act Up!" is a fun & exciting new party game that makes players the star! Players improvise scenes from 90 different Scene Cards that are based off of familiar scenarios from TV Shows, Movies, Commercials & More. One player each turn is the Critic and gets to judge their acting. In the end only one can be the winner or "best actor"! Warning: You might just find out how weird & strange your friends
or family members really are with what comes out of their mouths. Players: 3 to 6+

Besides a love of board games, I have always loved performing, especially improvisation, like you'd see on "Who's Line Is It Anyway." I started my career like many, as a background actor (extra). One day, many many moons ago, while sitting around waiting with my fellow extras I thought, "Wouldn't it be funny to play a game about being an extra while actually being an extra". I developed a full roll & move game that also included acting scene cards based off of ones we have seen many times in TV shows, Movies, Commercials, & more. After testing and playing, I quickly realized the fun elements were those scene cards and the crazy stuff that came out of people's mouths. So, I sat down and transformed it into an exciting new party game...ACT UP! Knowing that most people are not 'actors', I have made the scene cards a loose suggestion based off of scenarios we all know. I left a few details out allowing the player to make most of it up but with enough structure to not feel confused at were to begin or what it's all about. With only :30 seconds to perform you have to think fast! Everyone also gets to play Critic and judge the performances. After 5 rounds of play a winner or best actor is declared. But in the end everyone wins! Warning: You might find out how strange & messed up your friends or family members are with what comes out of their mouths. BTW, it's always the quiet ones.
