’s debut EP from 1998, ‘23:03’, is officially out today. It’s streaming everywhere and available on vinyl for the first time ever—Limited Edition Coke Bottle Clear vinyl to be exact.

It’s been great working with the band and Collin Jordan at over the last 2 years on both their EP and their 2xLP to make sure their music is properly documented for everyone to enjoy.

“Cinematheque” is the second single from the upcoming 25th Anniversary reissue of .sd’s LP, ‘To Change the Shape of an Envelope’.

Considerably different from other songs on the record, with “Cinematheque” the band leaned heavily into their shoegaze influences. The song ebbs and flows between reverb-saturated guitars with dreamy, muffled vocals and a couple noisy interludes before the drums and bass drop out and it trails off into a residual wash of textures.

We’ve been itching to share this one. Today “Continued”, the 2nd single from the forthcoming reissue of ’s 1996 record, ‘Came By To Kill Me”, is streaming everywhere.

Respect to the Bottomley brothers for one of the best zines of the 90s / early aughts. Skyscraper covered a diverse spectrum of musical genres and Issue #5 from 1999 even featured an interview with Russell and Michelle from .sd.

BIG NEWS: ’s 1997 album, ‘Unf**kwithable’, is officially back in print and out today. Remixed, remastered, available on red or orange vinyl, and finally streaming on all the major DSPs for the first time ever.

Kent, Ohio certainly warrants a chapter in the history books chronicling the 90s DIY punk scene and this band was at the center of it all. Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen.

New NORMANS single now streaming.

After the release of their self-titled album in January, Los Angeles noise rock band .is.normans played a number of shows before taking a break to begin writing new material.

“Prizen Kissn” is their latest single. It’s an epic banger with menacing guitar progressions, choir/chanting style vocals, and razor sharp synths culminating with a massive bass driven ending.

We just ust sleeved up a very limited number of ’s ‘UNF**KWITHABLE’ test pressings in these 350gsm kraft finish cardboard jackets that .neeson generously hand screened and numbered. The band appears to have kept #9, #10, #11, and #15 for themselves so hope you weren’t counting on one of those.

In the summer of 1995, .band was on tour with longtime friend, roadie and resident/promoter . They played 2 shows in the East Bay.

One night was a pirate radio station/house show in Oakland with Amber Inn. The other was in Berkeley at on 7/14/95 with Half Man from New York.

We’ve recently unearthed a piece of history thanks to . He came across a sound board recording of their Gilman show that sounds quite good.

It’s a 7 song set and features two of the last songs the band wrote together (“For Dan” and “Bottlecap”) that were never recorded or released. The band broke up just a few weeks after this tour.

.band have been busy since releasing their 2nd album, ‘Some Sudden Weather’, in late 2023. They produced a video for their single “Count To Ten”, continued to play shows and support other artists in/around Minneapolis, and recently recorded new material.

Today their latest single, “Steady/Sugarless”, is streaming everywhere. Recorded with longtime collaborator Zach Hollander at , featuring John Dieterich () from Deerhoof’s visceral, overdriven production, and mastered by at Chicago Mastering, this song begs to be played loudly on a sunset drive.

In the late 90s San Diego noisemakers .sd were pushing the boundaries of post-hardcore music. They cut their teeth on the angular and abrasive sounds of Antioch Arrow, Clickatat Ikatowi, and He**in and incorporated synths and electronics to create their own dark, jarring, experimental rock sound.

Originally released in 2000 ‘To Change the Shape of an Envelope’ was the band’s only full length record and today we’re sharing their first single, “Twenty-Five Diamonds”. From the ominous synth opening to the punchy, upbeat drumming, this track is a masterclass in songwriting that’s sure to result in head bobbing and chest thumping.

On 2/7/25 ‘To Change the Shape of an Envelope’ gets the 25th Anniversary Reissue treatment. Remastered by at with new artwork by , it will be streaming for the first time ever and available on Limited Edition Transparent Ruby Red or Opaque White vinyl.

“Closetful of Churches” is now streaming.

This morning we’re excited to share the first (and only) single and announce the first ever vinyl pressing of ’s 1998 debut EP, ‘23:03’. Originally released on CD by File 13 Records, these 3 songs were the precursor to their 1999 debut album ’81:03’ and combines the band’s love of shoegaze, space rock, and electronica.

Earlier this year guitarist Chris Donahue tragically passed away. We were honored to work with the rest of the band on a vinyl release of their EP as a way to honor Chris’s memory and creative genius.
