"MY TWIN SONS STOPPED TALKING AFTER MY MIL SPENT THE WEEKEND WITH US – ONE NIGHT, I FINALLY HEARD THEM SPEAK.

This was only the second time my MIL had visited us to see the kids since their birth 10 years ago. The first time was right after they were born. They got along perfectly fine until she took them aside for a private talk. After that, they went completely silent. We tried everything—therapists, doctors—but nothing worked.

Then, last night, I heard faint voices and went to check. I wasn't hallucinating—OMG, they were TALKING to each other! I was ready to rush in and hug them when I overheard:

Jack: ""I can't stay silent anymore. This will kill Mom when she finds out.""

Will: “But you heard Grandma—Dad is handling it. And Vivian is waiting for us.""

"JOKE OF THE DAY: An old, tired-looking dog wandered into a man’s yard. From his collar and well-fed belly, the man could tell the dog had a home and was well taken care of.

The dog calmly approached the man, who gave him a few pats on the head. The dog then followed him into the house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in a corner, and fell asleep.

An hour later, the dog went to the door, and the man let him out.

The next day, the dog returned, greeted the man in the yard, walked inside, and resumed his spot in the hall, again sleeping for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks.

"JOKE OF THE DAY: A guy suspects his wife is cheating on him, so he comes home early from work one day. His wife meets him at the door in a bathrobe, her hair a mess. ""Where is he?"" he demands. ""Where's the guy who's been sleeping with you?""

""I don't know what you're talking about, dear,"" she answers. So the guy tears the house apart, looking for him. Finally, he's on the second floor in the kitchen, and he looks out the window and sees a guy sitting in a Volkswagen.

""That's him,"" the guy thinks. ""That's the guy who's been sleeping with my wife!"" Furious, he picks up the refrigerator, throws it out the window, has a heart attack, and dies.

St. Peter meets him at the gates of Heaven. ""Why are you here?"" he asks, and the guy answers, ""I knew my wife was cheating on me, so I came home early. I saw her boyfriend sitting in his Volkswagen out on the street, threw the refrigerator at him, had a heart attack, and died."" St. Peter scowls and says, ""You don't belong here. Go to hell.""
