Simon Cowell and David Walliams reached a whole new level.
David Walliams has revealed that Simon Cowell is now taking an afternoon nap while filming Britain's Got Talent
The comedian and children's author has revealed he now sees it as his mission to drive fellow judge Simon insane - by teasing him for his diva behavior, which includes keeping the crowd waiting while he's a napping.
David says the television and music mogul is often late for recordings of BGT because, at 62, he now needs an afternoon nap.
He said: "One of the most annoying people I've ever worked with in my life is Simon Cowell
"That's because this man has absolutely no sense of time.
"He's often five hours late for Britain's Got Talent auditions. Now he sleeps in the theater in the middle of the day.
"So we're supposed to start filming for the second session at 8pm and he'll go to sleep." Simon just doesn't understand how his lateness can upset the audience.
David said: “We are often two or three hours late. He'll then wonder why the audience leaves at 1:30 while we're still filming.
"He's like, 'Why is the audience leaving?' and I'm like, 'Because they don't have a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce to take them home.
"Every day people come and say, 'I really like how you're ruining his life.' So that's my job."
