OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCING PRE-PRODUCTION ON OUR NEXT FEATURE FILM PROJECT!!!
Michael Malott & Bad Clown Films in association with Jack Giacalone announce, THE FAMILY. The new dark comedy feature film project will commence filming in mid-2025 (filming around August) and is set to film in Grosse Pointe and Birmingham, Michigan, as well as the Metro-Detroit area. We had originally planned to do the horror film, Fe**sh next but I owe it to my family and friends to put this film first and take a shot at doing a dark black comedy film because the script and storyline is ripe and ready for harvest.

This dark and severely twisted comedy feature film project created by Michael Malott is currently in pre-production from Bad Clown Films in association with Jack Giacalone and is set to be our next feature film production.

This dark art comedy film revolves around the semi-fictional and semi-real tale of a totally whacked out family that brings a whole new meaning to the definition of the word "dysfunctional".
MEET THE DAVID FAMILY............
Margaret, the greedy, manipulating and totally self centered and always conniving family member. Always playing the victim, she spends the majority of her miserable, hateful and depressing life on the psychiatrist's couch. She'll stab anyone in the back and spreads false gossip through the family tree to try and annihilate her siblings and look holier then others keeping her aim on the family fortune. She is a pathological liar who has racked up more divorces and ex-husbands then Zsa Zsa Gabor.
Karen, the self-proclaimed princess and control freak. The epitome of the term privileged. A plastic surgeon's jack-pot, she's the skilled gold digger who never worked a day in her life and believes the world is beneath her. She blows through her husbands hard-earned fortune and fame.
Her husband, Ron, a down to earth highly respected high profile politician and the only seemingly normal one in the group who lives regretting marriage every single moment. Considering he has too much to lose in cash and reputation, he just does everything he can to avoid being near her. They have their hands full with the off the wall antics of two teenage son's, one who is openly gay and now wants to become a woman and the other who is a member of a white supremist group.
Gerald, the quiet, laid back humble hypocrite aluminum salesman who serves as the main "yes man" to Karen to ensure he gets that revenue from Karen's next annual Christmas check. Considered the most righteous and perfect of the family, he skillfully created that illusion and not at all the person he imagines himself to be.
David, the greedy sinister scam running in-law who amongst weekly extramarital affairs thinks endlessly how to screw the other family members figuratively and the majority of his co-workers literally. His wife has no clue of his recurring affair with Margaret, and a long string of others, but David and Margaret are truly made for each other.
Michael, the radical pot smoking liberal who defies the expectations of a dysfunctional and highly judgmental family. He has a zero tolerance for bu****it. The black sheep of the family, he has no problem calling it as he sees it and distances himself from the family at every opportunity.
Mickey, the wanna be rock star whose claim to fame climaxed dressing in a chicken suit as a mascot for a failing stereo store.
Ruth, the reigning family monarch and now owner of her late husband's oil monopoly. She lives comfortably tucked away in her Long Island mansion, well aware of the real motivations of the family. They all put on their best act in her presence but she is sharp as a tack and well humored by all the family backstabbing, drama and antics.
And Sally, who up and joined a commune to escape it all.......
A chaotic non-stop series of comedic misadventures by a conniving group of misfits. Follow their haphazard back-stabbing hard core drama soap opera antics and misadventures for a roaring dark laugh in this new feature length film project.
