I was attempting to go into the water to launch as a seaplane and while taxing into to water, I clipped a propeller and destroyed 1 of the 4 engines.
after two unsuccessful attempts to take off from the water (not generating enough speed for lift) I taxied up onto the beach and was able to take off as a traditional plane using 3/4 engines.
however, coming into land at the mechanic shop to repair the broken propeller on engine 1 turned into Berthas first crash. Transitioning from forward flight to vertical landing, the lack of thrust from engine 1 caused the aircraft to stall into an unrecoverable roll.
thank you to the kind Samaritans who brought me to the hospital, sorry about your shop…
