7 Prayers Satan Hopes You Never Pray
1. The Prayer of Obedience (Gen 22:1) - “Lord I am here ready to obey even when the cost is high. Help me to trust your plan above all else.” This prayer is hated by satan because it embodies complete obedience to the Lord.
2. The Prayer of Guidance (Gen 31:11) - “Here I am Lord ready to listen and follow your guidance in my life, even in dreams and visions.” Satan hates this because it invites prayer and clarity and counteracts his confusion.
3. The Prayer of Answering the Call (Ex 3:4) - “Here I am God, ready to step into the calling you have for me, even if it seems beyond my ability.” When you pray this, Satan hates it because you’re relying on the grace of God.
4. The Prayer of Responding to God’s Voice (1 Sam 3:4) - “Here I am Lord, speak to me because I am ready to listen and act upon your word.” This prayer is hated by satan because it opens the heart to divine communication and spiritual connection with God, and it weakens satan’s ability to influence your life.
5. The Prayer of Willingness to Go (Is 6:8) - “Here I am Lord, send me. I am willing to go wherever you lead, for Your glory.” Satan hates this because it reflects a readiness to serve and it fulfills God’s mission, counteracting his desire to keep you passive.
6. The Prayer of Yeilding to a Difficult Task (Acts 9:10) - “Here I am Lord, ready to obey, even when the task seems daunting or dangerous.” Satan hates this prayer because it shows your willingness to follow God’s plans even in the most challenging situations which frustrate his plans of fear and confusion.
7. The Prayer of Absolute Surrender (2 Sam 15:25-26) - “Here I am Lord, let your will be done in my life, whether it brings favor or discipline, I am yours. Do to me what seems good to You.” This prayer shows your trust in God’s sovereignty in uncertain times. And it messes with Satan’s attempts to create doubt and despair.
