Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps lies the charming town of Zermatt, a picture-perfect haven that feels like it’s straight out of a dream. It’s the kind of place where time seems to slow down, making it the ideal spot to retire and savor life’s simple pleasures.
If I lived here, I’d spend my days surrounded by serene mountain views, breathing in the crisp, fresh air. The peace and quiet would be unmatched. One of Zermatt’s most unique features is its commitment to preserving the environment. Did you know that only electric and environmentally friendly vehicles are allowed here? Visitors have to park their cars far from town and take eco-friendly shuttles to reach this alpine paradise.
It’s a place where nature takes center stage, and life feels refreshingly uncomplicated. Perhaps one day, this could be home—a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world.

The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.
I can't help but just watch the skiers doing their thing because I can't ski 🥴
Meanwhile I went inside the Glacier Paradise where I almost passed out due to low oxygen.
I was rushing and did not let my body acclimate to the oxygen level and I thought I was gonna die.
I was the only one in there but I am glad I was able to survive it.
