James Bowen was a young recovering addict when he found an abandoned ginger cat on the streets of London. They formed a strong bond and James took Bob with him everywhere, when he was busking and selling The Big Issue. He wrote a best selling book about their time together which was subsequently made into a film. When Bob died, he was sadly missed by so many people. James now spends his time working with charities dealing with homelessness, literacy and animal welfare.
