Bio:
Tyler Spyder began his journey into the world of Music when he picked up an electric guitar at age 14. Completely clueless with very little attention span to figure out how to read music, notes, and keys; Tyler quickly figured out Guitar Tablature, and practiced daily, discovering his ability to Sing, Play Guitar, and Keyboards. At age 16, he got his first tower computer, an Apple PowermacG3, and obtained GarageBand, utilizing that program to learn about songwriting, loop arrangement, sound design and manipulation. He then dove into Midi Controllers, Drum Machines, and later obtaining an Electric Bass at age 17. Tyler made the first OUTLET EP with GarageBand in 2007, recording his vocals, guitar and bass with an audio interface as well as a vintage Mackie Mixer. It was called "The Lost Highway," followed up with "Beyond The Dark Horizon." In 2008, Tyler Spyder created the first Outlet album; "Eclipse: Becoming A Monster." In the beginning it was a blend of Heavy Electro Rock/Industrial Music, created in GarageBand. Having lost possession of his Mac, He reworked it to be more Progressive Heavy Metal with an Artifact Dell PC, using the programs, MixCraft and BeatCraft, in their infant stages back when they were Freeware. Though his live rendition of his band performed live a number of times in several Utah Venues, after little to no success, and inconsistent lineup changes, Tyler discarded that project in the fall of 2009. Tyler took a break from making his own music, and an opportunity presented itself. His old friend from Jr. High and High School, Devan Bailey, asked him to join his solo project called Lexi SayOK. He was their live Synth Player, Programmer, Camera Man, and Lights Setup. Lexi SayOK, created by Devan Bailey was, Matt Gibbs, Jesse the drummer, and Tyler Spyder on Live Keys; After joining the band, a week later they performed on Park City Live TV following the release of Devan's album, "Pseudo Science." Lexi SayOK then entered and performed at the annual "Utah Battle of the Bands" in 2009, which was held at "In The Venue/Club Sound" in Downtown Salt Lake City. (The Venue ended up being destroyed to make way for snazzy apartments after The Covid19 Pandemic hit in the late fall of 2020, Eleven years later)

Lexi SayOK ended up selling more than 50 tickets, and won that event; being awarded the title of Utah's Best Local Band in 2009, and using the prize money of $500 to fund a mini tour in Idaho, and several cities in Washington. After their Mini-Tour, while Devan was finishing up work on his new album, the band dissolved. Matt Gibbs went on an LDS Mission, and Jesse The Drummer, vanished with the intent of becoming a Cop. Devan and Tyler Spyder filmed 2 additional music videos after the band began to dissolve: "New Friends" and "Don't Speak." These performances are still on the LEXI SAYOK YouTube Channel. Eventually Devan moved on and created a new project, Ghosts of Cinema, and later writing music under Devan Bailey. Tyler Spyder then returned to my his solo projects, rebranding himself as Tyler Spyder/REDechoes, and Dethspyder; Creating Progressive Electronica, Electro Rock, Synthwave, Electro House, Trip Hop, Dubstep, and Psytrance. Upon diving into the realm of EDM, Raves and Partying, back in the early winter of 2010, Tyler created Dethspyder, but didn't release much until Summer. On June 23rd, 2010, He released his first official EP under Dethspyder, called, "Oblivion's Mea Culpa." The following month he finished and released "XTended4Play." During this time, Tyler Spyder was heavily inspired by artists like Deadmau5, Innerpartysystem, Kaskade, Nero, Infected Mushroom, Pendulum, and Cosmic Gate. He created what he called "Doomstep" and performed live in several venues, house parties, and even at a few Raves using an Akai APC40, a 2007 MacBookPro, and his Alesis 49 Midi Keystation. At the end of 2015, Tyler was so burnt out on the EDM scene, it's sub genres, and collaboration with Mainstream Pop Music, he ended up making a 4 song EP, shelving it for 3 years, then performed live at the Bloom 2 Festival, opening for Nero and Showtek. Tyler then took a step back from music, but eventually distributing the EP via SoundCloud on December 18th, 2018. It's name was Sequence Volume One. From 2016-2017, Tyler was more into making simple, yet bass heavy productions similar to The Glitch Mob, IAMX, The Faint, as well as Japanese Pop Piano Rock, using an Akai Key 25 and my iMac and MPB to play house and rooftop parties in SLC. And then Tyler Spyder vanished on Christmas Eve, 2018...Until moving back to Salt Lake City, August, 2020. Tyler was starting over. He began work on new material in the fall of 2020, only to disappear again in February, 2021...And come back with a Solid New EP based on Hideo Kojima video games, and returning a bit back to his roots, once established in Outlet...
