I want one of those for me! 😳 backstory ::: Kay and I are going on a vacation to Switzerland, and are SO excited! One thing we have to do before we can enjoy the vacation however, is travel there. That may sound easy, but with an infant, a 8 hour flight is terrifying! We got all kinds of things to try to make the trip easier, but we were still nervous. We traveled NY first, and Ellie did great! She didn’t cry, and she had a fun time sitting with us while we flew, then we had to wait a few hours for our red-eye flight to Switzerland! ❤️ When we boarded, Ellie was wide awake, she was excited at all the new sounds, smells, and people; and was so active. After takeoff, we started trying to put her to sleep, but she didn’t want to sleep yet. She sat up and played with some toys and started to get fussy because of the noise/pressure change/etc. Kay fed her and we got her to lay down. She slept for a little bit, but then she accidentally wet herself and the sleep sack that we brought! 😳 The diaper somehow came undone and so it got everywhere. After cleaning it up, we were really nervous because Ellie doesn’t do well sleeping without a sleep sack, but kay fed her again and we laid her down on the bassinet, and to our surprise, she actually went to sleep! After that, Kay and I were able to get a few uncomfortable hours of sleep, and we finally landed!! Ellie fell asleep so fast after that spa day! 😂❤️ backstory ::: We are about to leave for our trip to Switzerland with my family, and I wanted to make sure that Kay was relaxed and ready for the trip! I reached out to her esthetician, @BOHO Med Spa and asked if she could do a mommy daughter spa day. She said she would love to do that, and I set up the time to come in! I went to Kay and surprised her and she was so excited. She loves being pampered and was so excited to see Ellie take her first little spa experience. We rode there and we watched Ellie get a little baby facial. It was so cute! Ellie was having so much fun with the utensils and was giggling along as the facial went on. By the time it was over, she was so relaxed and actually ended up falling asleep! 😂

Soooo we may buy our FIRST house! 😳🤞🏼 backstory ::: We have never owned a home. We have always rented, and when we would pick places to live, we would always try to pick cheaper places and save the rest… so that one day we could buy a house. For a long time, we were in debt, and so it seemed like we would never get a house, but we have always worked hard and kept that goal in our minds! ❤️ We’ve been doing that for 10 years now, and we have finally found the house that we both want to grow and raise our family in, and after years of saving, we finally have enough for a down payment! ❤️ The house we found is so perfect for both of us, and we love everything about it. We are both really scared because we have never done anything like this before. I know that we will be able to figure it out though! ❤️ My fingers are crossed that they end up accepting our offer! I would love to be able to have a house to call my own! I would also love to have a room for Ellie. 😂 Right now she lives in a little cubby by the living room, and she really deserves her own room! We have been using our stockpile, but it wasn’t going to be enough for a whole year. So Kay has started trying different ways to increase her supply. One thing she tried was drinking coconut water, which actually worked! She has done so many things with no success, and this time it’s actually helping! 😳 Kay has been so upset for so long about not being able to make enough, and so the fact that it was as easy as coconut milk, is crazy! 😂 I am so glad that she figured it out! It was information that came from one of her many mom groups! She has SO many mom groups! 😂 I am glad that she is making enough now! She is constantly trying to make enough so that Ellie will grow and have enough to eat! Kay wants to make it until Ellie turns 1 before she stops, and so whenever her supply starts to drop, she goes into overdrive. She researches different ways to get her supply up and sometimes they work! This time, her little group told her to drink coconut water and pineapple juice. Kay HATES coconut water, so I’m not sure how she is going to stomach that every day! 😂 She is determined though, to make sure that she continues to produce milk for the next few months! I can’t believe she already has 4 teeth! 😳 backstory ::: Ellie started getting tooth lumps not long ago. There were little raised lumps on a few spots in her mouth. Now those lumps have erupted into little baby teeth. They are the cutest little teeth and Ellie is learning how to use them! She is crunching on her toys and sometimes Kay during her feeds! 😳😅 I am so amazed at how fast these little teeth came in! It seems like just yesterday she had a little gummy smile, and now she’s got teeth all over! Now that she has her two front teeth, she is going to have the cutest little buck tooth smile! I can’t wait for them to come in a little more so they can be seen when she smiles. When we first got married, we had nothing, we barely could afford the rings that we did get, and since, I have been saving for several years and always told her that when we were able, I would get her a dream ring! When I surprised her in NYC, she was so happy. She loves her ring and tells me all the time how thankful she was for it. I guess she wanted to return the favor, because she got me a ring as well! I love that our rings match again and have the engraving “no matter what” which is what we put on our original rings. She is such an amazing wife and mother, and is always so thoughtful. She has dreamed of having this for SO LONG! 😂 backstory ::: Kay and I have been saving money for a house, but I saw a deal and I couldn’t resist 😂 I bought it and got it set up, but it takes a few hours to start working so i put a cover over it for the night so that Kay could try it when it was ready! This is something that she has wanted for years and always goes out of her way to find when we are out! Idk if it’s the crunch or what, but Kay LOVES this stuff! 😂 So I have been quietly looking at them in the background trying to find the perfect one for her! Ellie’s little smile at the end 🥹❤️ backstory ::: Kay spent the morning cleaning up Ellie’s room and the kitchen, and after feeding Ellie, Kay noticed that Ellie had 2 HUGE tooth lumps on her top two teeth. Ellie has been having trouble sleeping the last several nights. She wakes up multiple times per night, we thought she was in a mental leap and that was causing her to wake up more, but now we are thinking that it was these two boulders! 😂 The teeth coming in from those lumps must be huge, because the lumps on her mouth are so swollen. Her poor mouth probably hurts so bad. Kay called me over to show me the lumps and I could see them so clearly. You can also see the little tooth starting to peek out from the bottom of the lump, so she could have her two top teeth in the next week or so! 😳 it’s so crazy that she already has this many teeth! She’s growing so fast and soon she will be crawling! 😭 I have loved seeing her grow and have all of these fun first moments! She is going to have so much fun looking back at these moment one day and seeing herself grow up!
Ellie’s face when she saw all of the food! 😂❤️ backstory ::: I love to cook for Kay! Sometimes I will cook new recipes and surprise Kay to see if she likes it. It’s always so fun seeing if she likes the recipe or not. I decided today that I would pretend to cook and see if she noticed. I went to her favorite ramen place and got what she always orders. They gave it to me in pieces, so I put everything out like I was preparing it myself. Then when Kay came out, I put it all together and played it off as if I cooked it. At first I thought that she was fooled… but soon she started to catch on. It might have been the fact that I have no clue how to create ramen like this, or that it tasted so similar to her favorite ramen place! 😂 She finally realized that I didn’t make it, and I was actually tricking her 😂 either way it was a fun prank to play, and so fun to see her reaction!
Ellie was so proud of herself 😂 backstory ::: We took Ellie to the doctor a couple weeks ago, and he said that she looked like she might start trying to crawl in the coming months. Since then, we have been paying close attention to Ellie’s tummy times to see if she was showing signs of wanting to crawl! She gets bored of tummy time very quickly, so we hadn’t seen much. When Ellie was doing her most recent tummy time with Kay, she started to lift her arms and hold up her body. Kay was excited and said that she wanted to come up with another plan to keep her motivated to try and crawl! ❤️ She got a toy and held it in front of her. Kay had been told by the pediatrician that her knee needed to start to be brought up if Ellie was wanting to crawl, also Ellie would start holding up her upper body with her arms. So when Kay saw Ellie start bringing her knee in, she got really excited. Ellie will have to learn how to bring in her knee and push with her toes, but that will come with time. Before she learns that, we have to start baby proofing the house! 😳
Idek what that latte art looked like 😅😂 backstory ::: Kay and I just got back from our beach trip! We had an amazing time, and best of all, Kay has felt better like maybe her flare is calming down! ❤️ She did get a little sun rash which can happen with Lupus, but she’d rather be dealing with that than all of the other stuff that she’s dealt with the last couple weeks. It was such a relaxing trip, but sleeping was rough while we were there. Ellie has started sleep regression. We aren’t sure if it’s from her teeth or what, but she is waking up multiple times each night. We aren’t sure yet how to handle it, because she’s slept all the way through the night since she was 6 weeks old. When we got home last night, we went to bed like normal and did our normal routine with Ellie, but she had horrible sleep. She was up every hour or so, and was babbling all night and otherwise just being awake and not tired. Kay tried to get her to sleep but every time we’d move her to the bassinet, she’d wake back up and not want to sleep. We haven’t changed anything with her routine, so we will have to come up with a plan tonight to get her to sleep better. Any advice would be amazing 😂
Ellie’s face when she was in her private pool! 😂 backstory ::: My wife and I are on a relaxing beach trip. It came at a perfect time because she has had a hard time the last few weeks with her health. I took all of our stuff down to the beach ahead of Kay and I set up a space for us to hangout. It was super hot, so I wanted to make sure that everything was ready before I brought them down. After it was set up, I went and got them, and brought them to the beach. She loved the beach area that I setup, and was so excited for a day to relax and listen to the ocean. Ellie was also excited because we brought toys and she had milk on tap. 😂 the day was so fun, and I’m so glad because Kay has really needed this! We headed back to the beach after this, so it was a nice way to finish off our trip! ❤️
