: In June of 2000, Kyle Brown’s parents went missing the small town of Baudette, Minnesota when he was just ten years old. This tragedy inspired him to join law enforcement after high school and working his way up to Detective. A few months into this position, Kyle encounters problems when a string of gruesome murders start occurring in Baudette. The townspeople are terrified and whispers of it being the Wendigo back from its hibernation causes even more unrest. After being raised by his atheist aunt, Kyle doesn’t believe in such things, preferring to live and die by science. Once the murders start to increase more rapidly, Kyle has his belief system shaken to the core as he seeks to thwart the evil entity for good.
