Man Seeks $9.5M from U.S. Government after his Snowmobile hit a Black Hawk helicopter

In 2019, Jeff Smith experienced a life-altering accident 🚑 when his snowmobile 🌨️ collided with a camouflaged U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter 🚁, parked on a dual-use trail at Albert Farms airfield in Massachusetts.

This crash led to Smith losing the use of his left arm, developing respiratory issues 😷, and being unable to work full-time. As a result, he is demanding $9.5 million 💰 in compensation from the government to cover extensive medical bills and lost wages.

The lawsuit argues the Army crew from New York’s Fort Drum was negligent for parking the 64-foot helicopter 🚁 in an area known to be used by snowmobilers 🌨️.

Breaking News ❗️ An Avion Express Airbus A320 experienced a temporary runway excursion at Vilnius Airport, Lithuania. ✈️❗️

The aircraft drifted off course during landing, briefly leaving the runway and crossing into grassland. It crossed a taxiway before returning to the runway.

The plane safely taxied to the apron, and no further issues were reported.✈️
