On July 25, 1978, Louise Brown became the first baby born using the IVF technique. Today, over 8 million babies have been born using IVF.

For those who do not know my story, my mommy and daddy tried for 2,690 days to have a baby. My mommy went through 4 years of constant medicated cycles with no success. Mommy did seven intrauterine inseminations with no success and moved on to IVF. In 2015, after two rounds of IVF, and 20 eggs collected, my mommy had four little embryos that survived to day 5. My mommy transferred two fresh embryos and froze her remaining two embryos. The first two embryos were transferred; mommy lost both and was devastated. Heartbroken over the loss of my siblings, Mommy and Daddy decided to wait to transfer my sibling and me, and we remained frozen for two years.

In Jan 2017, Mommy and Daddy decided to transfer me and my frozen sibling. I stuck! I stuck so hard, but my sibling did not make it. I believe my three siblings were so brave to give their little lives and choose me to make my mommy and daddy parents! My mommy and daddy didn’t think they would ever get their happily ever after, but they did. With patience, hope, and a whole lot of science, I finally made my entrance in October 2017. That’s how my daddy chose my name. I am their Happily Everly After. ❤️
