As mentioned in my last post, here is one of the links that I have tested thoroughly over the last 4 months and found very useful.

This is for those who bank here in the U.S. It is a wonderful little service that allows you to create your own virtual credit card for online or phone transactions.

There is no cost to you and they'll pay you $5 just for signing up.

Why would you want to use this?

What if you want to sign up for a trial but they want your credit card? Instead of giving out your personal credit card, create a virtual card with this app. You can choose to cancel it anytime.

What's nice about this app is it puts the power back in your hands. No more having to haggle with a company about refunding your money because you didn't cancel in time.

Continued from last post...

In light of the many hardships people are experiencing whether they are due to COVID-19 or other factors, I've been searching to find opportunities that will help you, your friends and family members.

Please stay tuned. I have a couple of links you might want for services that are truly beneficial and will be posting them very soon.

Until then, please know that kindness is something we can practice in abundance and does not cost us anything. We can still look out for one another in ways that do not require physical contact.

Continue to be creative and thoughtful in finding ways to support each other. A simple smile can go a long ways towards lifting someone's spirits and feeling acknowledged.

With that in mind, how are you doing? How are you staying connected with your family and friends?

I hope all of you are doing well and are safe and healthy.

Although I have not done a lot of posting, it's because I prefer to post only when I have something especially helpful or meaningful to share with my friends.

We are living through unprecedented times which include but are not limited to the pandemic, hurricanes, fires, social unrest and economic shifts that are hurting many throughout the globe.

While the world of healthcare is on the front lines battling COVID-19, the rest of the world is busy finding ways to adjust to an environment that has seen online orders for groceries, restaurant and fast food deliveries, gardening supplies, home decor and office needs, etc. as well as RV sales continue to rise over the last several months here in the U.S.

There is one industry in particular that is doing very well if not bursting at the seems due to unprecedented demand. That industry is online communications.

Anything that supports virtual face and talk connection such as FB live, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Microsoft Teams, etc are all one example of services that have been scrambling to meet demand and shore up their security protocols for users and their various meetings.

So why note all of this? None of this is news to you but I have been doing a lot of thinking about what I can do to help through this channel.
