@henning_group magazine extension provides 23+1 in my @beretta_usa @langdontactical 92 Elite LTT using an 18rd @mecgar_official
tube.
These magazine extensions are also the easiest mag extension I've ever experienced in regards to how easy they are to install and remove.
Mayli and Henning are competing this week at @theuspsa Factory Gun Nationals. A perfect venue to use a some of the products we manufacture. If you are at the Nationals, please leave a comment! #czusa #czusafirearms #czshadow2 #henninggroup #czgrips #magextension
Since we can't get out to shoot together - I thought I'd share a match video, and talk about what I believe in when it comes to competing with guns.
Shooting is most importantly extremely fun and I'm very passionate about it -.
And I love to compete, for specific reasons. Being at a match puts me in a slightly more "serious" mindset. I have made - The Match - "important" so I'm going to bring out the best version of myself. Right? Competition challenges me to clear my head and focus on my actions in the moment - you could say it is my meditation. I get to truly be with, and in my body. Be aware of my balance, stance, posture and connection to the ground. Moving and shooting can feel overwhelming - there's a lot going on. So besides looking thru my eyes, I open my other senses, including my inner sense of "seeing my body" - after all I'm running around with a loaded gun and I should be as aware as I can, right? It''s said to: being the observer to the observed - grip tension, trigger movement, watching the sights move into the target, body flow - and most importantly - my "character", "discipline", "rules", "beliefs" and all that I have accumulated thru my life - those instant, little inclinations, that affects the decision made in the moment. Call it the subconscious. It's been referred to as "being in the zone" when you're "there". No slow, conscious thoughts, but action taken from a deeper place.
So I believe in developing those subconscious actions thru honing shooting skills and dedicate regular time for mental training. Then go to a match and truly "meet myself" for a few moments of a life. I compete because it makes it important enough - to me - to slow down my everyday, busy, repetitive thoughts - so the observer can see who "I" am. I do that so I have something to work on and improve until next time.
Hopefully we can all get out to our ranges again soon.
Share your thoughts if you feel like it.
