🏔️🌾I’m excited to release the trailer for Peaks to Prairie!

This is a 20 minute film about how we can help fight climate change by listening to the intelligence of nature.
An epidemic of wildfires threatens forests in the peaks, while nearby agricultural soils in the prairie sit degraded.
Is there a holistic way these two problems could serve as solutions for each other?

🎉📺 Congratulations to which will be featured nationally on PBS Wed Dec 18 as part of the Earthshot Report!!

I did not produce or create this film but I did play a role filming the segment at Jack’s with an all local crew
Tell Prince William and Hannah Waddingham we said what’s up 🤙

“The Earthshot Report is the definitive review of the progress we have made in protecting and restoring our planet in 2024. 
The report uses the five Earthshots as its backbone to showcase the collective impact they are having on the planet
In the Fix Our Climate category, we hear how the charge is on for renewables in 2024, but that their expansion comes with its own problems, including how we best utilise space. We travel to Colorado, USA, to meet Byron Kominek who runs Jack’s Solar Farm, an agrivoltaics solution that ‘harvests the sun twice’, firstly by using it for solar energy and secondly by growing crops in between the panels at the same time. “

I hope it’s cool. I haven’t watched it. Sounds like a win win for the climate and Colorado film.

🎉🎥🌳Excited to be back this year!

Our film on has been selected for the 2024 Colorado Environmental Film Fest in Golden Colorado. The fest takes place from Feb 23-25 in Golden, Colorado.

Last year was one of my favorite festival experiences. We had a packed house for and had a great Q & A with an engaged local audience.

Looking forward to another year at CEFF!

Excited to share that has been accepted into the 22nd annual in California.

Wild & Scenic is considered one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film festivals.
And there’s even a chance the film could make it as part of the film tour they do.

What’s your purpose?

I think everybody can find “their thing”
I’m fortunate enough to find that in my work of Documentary Storytelling.
For our new rebranding I chose the slogan: Find Your Frontier, Fuel Your Purpose.

Once you find that thing...that’s particular to you. It can give you purpose each day to get out there and make it happen.

Can you find your niche? What’s unique to you? Is it maybe something you’re able to approach differently than others...or see in a different light.

Today my Frontier is:
Documentary Filmmaking
About everyday people trying to make a difference in the world or understand the world around them.
Captured in a less heavy handed way, authentic way. No big Hollywood crews or producers feeding people answers. No preconceived stories, duration, or brand strategies. Just people talking to people, trying to understand the world around us.
We work with people who treat people like people. And we make films because it fuels our purpose and gives voice to those in our community.
