I’ve been working on troubleshooting and re-building this computer for about 5 days now. Actually, had to switch out motherboards and redo all drivers for Windows XP! People are still using XP today; go figure. Well, at least for counting cows and keeping track of a diary farm!

The workbench has 3 computer jobs going at the same time! Very cool and is keeping me busy through the cold weather. Two laptops and a desktop. One laptop I have mostly disassembled is getting a display cable replaced, the other is getting a hard drive replaced, and the desktop is my testing computer that is doing a disk reliability scan.

However, interestingly the HP laptop I found after the fact only supports a few select SSD NVme models! HP is seemingly following Apple's lead in locking down their hardware.

UPDATE: I'm sure by now most of you who know me and have been to my home have heard in the news about a homicide and gun shots in Long Prairie last Sunday morning on the 12th. It happened at my neighbors house right next door.

My family and I are safe and okay! I will be open for business as usual. I wanted you to know just in case anyone was concerned for my safety.

Honestly, I'm so excited to be attending the b2b Showcase business convention next Tuesday at Cragun's Resort! I've never been to anything like this before and to be representing Ring Studios here just goes to show I'm taking business up a notch or two!
