Artist Spotlight: Insane Creatures/Tyndra - Catar Records

Angela Flo Llinas a.k.a Gelika/ Insane Creatures/Tyndra) born in Barcelona in 1987, had her first connection with music through the violin when she was 10 years old, later on at the age of 12 she started listening to electronic music and after a few years she came across Psychedelic Trance music and straight away loved the sound of it. In 2005 she started djing Psytrance and then she moved to the United Kingdom (London) and started to play in the London Psytrance scene.In 2008 she decided to go deeper and started to study Music production at the
London School of Sound and a Music Technology Specialist BA (Hons) in the University of West London.

Angela now has a number of releases in different labels around the globe since 2009. Her first EP ‘’Fractal Dreams’’ was in 2011 at Green Wizard Records, her second EP “Complex Behaviour” in 2014 at Purple Hexagon Records; were she also compiled the V.A.'s Quantum Animism 1.0 and 2.0 under the name of Gelika, and she released her first full album ‘’Underwater Mysteries” in 2017 with her Insane
Creatures project and now her last EP “Wired Patterns” released on 2020 at Catar Records. Angela also has a faster side project under the name of "Tyndra" and another two Psychedelic Trance projects “Moirae Somnus” with Daniel Grassman
(Isometric) & "Terpsicore" with Savina Scattaglia (Yara), along with her mastering and recording skills (Gelika Mastering Studios). In 2016 she opened her own record label ‘’Catar Records” were she compiled the V.A.“Epiphysis Cerebri”, V.A.“Nepeta Cataria”, V.A."Novem Vitas" & a TYNDRA EP. Now she is working on the second Insane Creatures album, Moirae Somnus Ep, Terpsicore EP & different compilations for Catar Records (Catars/DJ Gelika) and on a number of extra single releases around the globe.

Artist Spotlight: the Dog of Tears - Xexify Records

the Dog of Tears is David Chaim Cohen, also known as A.C. Lyon, D.C. Offset, and President of Xexify.

tDoT was born in 2004, though DCC has been making electronic music since 1998 when he first procured a 4-track cassette recorder and a Sequential Circuits Pro One synthesizer.  Around the time the tDoT project was formed, DCC also started developing a deep interest in psychedelic trance.  He did not want to be confined to the creative boundaries inherent in any dance-music idiom, so he invented Rusted Trance.  Rusted Trance is an experimental sub-genre of trance punctuated with variated, IDM like rhythms and mid-range harmonotastic clouds of timbral emulsification, not to mention the growling bass vowelizations of an ancient and forgotten alien race that formed the primordial ooze for baboon-kind.

tDoT is part of Xexify, which is really just an evil umbrella corporation responsible for the economic decay of the Loyal Order of Sea Lions.  Xexify has been involved in many temporary autonomous memories, namely every California Goa Gil party since 2008.  tDoT and A.C. Lyon were featured on Goa Gil’s Divine Dozen lists for 1.5 decades.

Artist Spotlight: Paula - Catar Records/Grimm Records/Katayy Records

Paula was one of the precursors of the dark psychedelic movement in Brazil, in the early 2000s.

Completing 20 years as a DJ in 2024, she has always been active in strengthening the trance scene, whether participating in parties that planted the seed of the psychedelic essence, as well as organizing tours with unusual artists who had never come to the country.

Her passion is to deeply research different, introspective and at the same time danceable sounds, which cannot be placed within labels and works on any type of dancefloor.

Has already released a compilation called “The Wicked Witch” on Grimm Records and “Pattern Breaker”, on Catar Records.

In addition to parties and festivals spread literally throughout Brazil, she has performed several times in many countries around the world, such as England, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Greece, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Peru, Rapa Nui (Chile), India and Hungary, at the Ozora Festival.

Her next international tour takes place in Europe in the summer of 2024 - she is confirmed at some of the most important dark psychedelic festivals of the world: Master of Puppets, Momento Demento e Drops Festival.

Artist Spotlight: Yoshua E.M - Blooming Minds Records

Yoshua E.m was born from one of the minds behind the project called Black Dreamz. The Mexican artist of Darkpsy, Experimental and some Drum and Bass began to produce music playing with different sounds and environments to find the psychedelic sound. His first release came out in 2008 with and from that moment he decided not to stop, he began producing under the name of Yoshua E.m His recent projects are 7 Lunas (Ambient, Downtempo), Mexican Armada (with kek heh), Underworld Architects (With CincerVomit) and Double wobble (with Xikwri Neyrra). His development has been constant without losing roots, he experimented with different things and interests over time, which has given him a very personal sound, the learning has marked his music a lot. He believes that his change has been very significant both in the musical and personal fields, different experiences and experiences were forging his way of seeing the world and expressing himself.

Artist Spotlight: Oneiros Project - Starseed Psytrance

“In stories of Greek Mythology, The Oneiroi were primordial deities, children of Nyx (night), and had numerous siblings, including Hypnos (sleep), and Thanatos. (death). They were the personifications of dreams, coming from the caverns of Erebos, the land of eternal darkness beyond the rising sun, the Oneroi pass through one of two gates. The first of these, made of horn, is the source of prophetic god-sent dreams, while the other, constructed of ivory, is the source of dreams which are false and without meaning. According to some, the leader of the Oneiroi is Morpheus, a god who appears in the dreams of kings in the guise of a man bearing messages from the gods.”

The symbiotic relationship between sleep and waking states is often understated in modern society. When cultivating a connection with dream realms, we can unlock keys and messages from past, present and future. Oneiros Project plays with the concept of the blurred line between dreams and reality. Visions and experiences beyond common explanation are used to fuel creativity.

Always passionate about music, playing piano and collecting many styles of sound, it was in his mid teens that Lyle Rhodes first discovered electronic music gatherings. After many parties and many hours on the dance floor and as a DJ, he has now dedicated himself to electronic music production.
Currently producing music with Starseed Psytrance and his label Water Family Records, and djing hi-bpm experimental with Metacortex Records.

Artist Spotlight: Psylomino - Voodoo Hoodoo Records

PSYLOMINO a.k.a. Andy Palomino, 29, originally from São Paulo, Brasil, based in Los Angeles, California. Night Spectrum Psytrance Dj and Music Producer. Since a kid, Andy was already inside the entertainment area, with his parents working at big festivals, and having big DJ names as friends, soon on his 17 years old, decided to follow the same path, and get really into the djing and music production scene. With inspirations and references such as Malkaviam, Tromo, Diksha, Fungus Funk, the project Psylomino is foccused on a diverse range within subgenres of Night psyquedelic, such as Fullon night, twilight, forestpsy and darkpsy, making his set a true wordless narrative trought the night.

Artist Spotlight: Feelionics - Blooming Mind Records

American forest producer based out of Los Angeles, CA, Feelionics is the main project of Riley Legaspi. A long time raver, slightly seasoned DJ, and now a complete slave to the world of music production, Feelionics has gone darker, faster, and more chaotic over the years.
A firm believer of nighttime music not being bound by BPM, Feelionics focuses on using forest, dark psy, and hitech as a mediums to express himself, taking elements of the three niche genres, past trauma, his friends, family, and his pussycats (they're actually dogs) as inspiration to paint the ever-changing landscape that is life on Earth.
So far, he thinks this route of essentially making dark nursery rhymes played in reverse as a proper route towards true musical expression. Then again, you can be the judge of that. He looks forward to building his audience, and with it, a steady flow of people that just simply love going crazies to music with him.

From her earliest steps, car0 has been guided by the primal force of rhythm. Her lifelong journey in music and dance began instinctively, evolving into a path of self-discovery and expression. After mastering dance techniques and performing professionally, her true awakening occurred in the underground rave scene, where she discovered a deep love for psychedelic dance music—igniting a passion that would shape her future.

More than just a collector of sounds, car0 is a conjurer, weaving sonic vibrations that dissolve time. Her DJ sets are ceremonies, each track chosen to awaken the primal and elevate the spirit. With her twin brother, a magnetic percussionist who passed in 2010, as her constant inspiration, she has graced stages across the USA, including playing for the Chiluminati crew at festivals like Sacred Earth, and curating Thumpin Thursdays, a transformative weekly event.

Trained in piano and French horn, car0 channels music through her 88-key synth and Maschine, crafting compositions that are both majestic and mystical. Her sound is ever-evolving—dark, deep, growly, raw, and progressive—an echo of the ancient and a beacon of the new.
