In business, you'll face some no's. What’s meant for you will come your way. Was I disappointed? Yes, absolutely. But at least I gave it my best shot.

It’s incredible how some people shy away from trying new things just because they’ve never done them before.

I suggested to my co-worker, who’s amazing at DIY projects, that she should start her own business. She said she couldn’t because she had never done it before.

Seriously?! I told her, “Girl, I was 410 pounds when I started working out. I transformed my body and wanted to help others do the same. So, I surrounded myself with people who were doing what I wanted to do and soaked up everything like a sponge.

I didn’t know it all at first, and I couldn’t do all the exercises because of my legs and surgeries, but I found my own way to do what I love. I do many things scared, but I pray, stand tall, and go after what I want.
