9am - K1 - come to class in your costume!
9:30am - K2, K3 + T - come in your costume for mat games!
10:30am - Comp Class - join us at 9:30 then change into your gi for comp class!
12pm - Adults - regular class (but feel free to come at 9:30 in your costume!)

This past weekend we celebrated the first six months of GRPL HAUS.

Building this gym has been a labor of love and we are so grateful to every single one of you.
To our students: we’re grateful for your commitment to our vision.
To the parents and spouses of our students: you sacrifice a lot for these folks to train - your contributions are appreciated!

When we started to dream about opening this gym, we knew we could make something special. What we didn’t know, and could never have anticipated, was how many of you would be with us right off the bat - and how quickly our program would grow.

We’re so grateful for every review, every friend you’ve invited in and every time you’ve repped our team out in the world. When we’re able to withstand the test of time, it’ll be because of you.

Jiu-Jitsu is more than just a martial art, and it’s more than a sport; it’s a journey of growth, respect and community. At GRPL HAUS, we are so proud and so grateful to the individuals and families who make our culture what it is.

Meet the Team Tuesday featuring Coach Trey, Head of School |

Q: where do you live and what do you like about it?
A: I live in Aurora, CO currently. We are very close to family which is very nice!

Q: how long have you been training and what do you love most about Jiu Jitsu?
A: I have been training for a little over a decade now. I love that Jiu Jitsu has taught me how to love myself deeply enough to be able to show love to other people. Before Jiu Jitsu I had neither skill.

Q: when you aren’t at GRPL HAUS, how do you spend your time?
A: Most of the time I’m just spending my days with the family. I am very into historical books/podcasts/lectures as well, I spend about 15 hours a week reading/listening to historical subjects.

Q: what would we be surprised to know about you?
A: Before Jiu Jitsu I wasn’t very successful in life, it really took the skills I learned on the mat to transform myself into the person I am today!

Q: if you were a sandwich, what kind of sandwich would you be?
A: I’d be a Medianoche, from a bakery in Miami

Q: what are you most proud of?
A: I am most proud of White Belt Trey. For the first time in my life I believed in myself and in something that would take many years to accomplish. Without him there’s not even a GRPL HAUS to speak of!

Q: do you have any goals you’re working towards?
A: My goals include; buying land/building a home, getting my hunting license and winning Master Worlds before I’m 40

MEET THE TEAM TUESDAY! Featuring Drew Dorsey |

Q: What is your role at GRPL HAUS?

A: I’m the Director of Operations and a co-founder of GRPL HAUS Jiu Jitsu.

Q: Where do you live and what do you like about it?

A: I live in Parker, Colorado with my beautiful wife, Rachel, and two boys, Jackson and Levi. I love the family vibe here. There’s always something to do and people to connect with.

Q: How long have you been training jiu jitsu and what do you love the most about it?

A: I started training jiu jitsu three and a half years ago. I am a blue belt, ask me anything. I know everything, lol 😂

I love the depth of technique and strategy in the art of jiu jitsu. The lessons are endless. I also love the community aspect of jiu jitsu. I get to train with all types of people and get to connect with them in a very unique way through jiu jitsu. I share a deep sense of trust and respect with my training partners.

Q: How do you spend your time when you aren’t at GRPL HAUS and what would we be surprised to know about you?

A: I’m a huge music fan / metalhead. I play lead guitar in rock band called COCKPIT. We are a Misfits and Black Sabbath tribute band with some 90s grunge thrown in there. I work in the film industry as a cinematographer and Steadicam Operator. I work on commercials mainly. I also love mountain biking and American muscle cars.

Q: If you were a sandwich, what kind of sandwich would you be?

A: Liverwurst sandwich on marbled rye with copious amounts of mustard. Iron rich, bursting with flavor 🤌

Q: What are you most proud of?

A: I am most proud of my two boys. They are incredible humans and they inspire me to be a good, involved, and present dad.
