"Planning a wedding can be stressful, but all of the vendors we chose made everything as smooth as it could be, and our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The Granite Rose team is stellar; they were prompt in answering our emails, set up all our decorations for us, and made sure we had any food and drinks we wanted throughout our wedding day. We loved that they gave us a private moment after our ceremony to take in the fact that we just got married before we went out to greet our guests.

Main Event’s DJ Lloyd and Yolanda and her string trio did a fantastic job at our wedding. Yolanda and the string trio set a beautiful atmosphere for our ceremony and were very helpful and accommodating in helping us choose the perfect songs for our ceremony. DJ Lloyd kept the energy high on the dance floor all night (just what we wanted!) and took great care in recording all the details we wanted, asking us about the specific mood we wanted to create and ensuring he knew how to pronounce all wedding party members names for our grand entrance.

My cousin, Andree Ciccarelli of Atelier Andree Ciccarelli, custom designed the dress of my dreams and made me feel so beautiful. We are still riding the high of our perfect wedding day!"

"Chris and I met in college through a mutual friend! We both went to Bentley and graduated in 2020. In 2021, we brought home our dog, Summit. We love hiking, skiing, and traveling together (we've been to France, the Canadian Rockies, and on a cross-country road trip over the last few years). We got engaged over the winter on a hike up Mt. Crawford!"

This week's Couple Spotlight is Karen & Scott! Thank you for sharing your love story with us. We hope you have the best time with DJ Jay! 💕

"Scott and I met during Covid, when the world was shut down. Immediately, there was a strong connection and given everything was closed, we had lots of time to get to know each other. After a few short months, we both knew we "found our person"! We danced in the kitchen, laughed, cried and everything in between. We met each other’s kids, I have 2 boys aged 25 & 22 and he has 2 girls aged 22 & 20 and we all became a blended family! We moved in together 2 years ago and we do everything together from grocery shopping, errands, visiting friends and just hanging out. In January of 2024, Scott planned a trip for us to Texas because I always wanted to go there. The day after we arrived, he planned the entire day and while we walked to do some shopping, he asked me to marry him in "Scott" fashion, bumbling his words with a bright red face. I instantly said YES, YES, YES!!! We texted our clan to share the wonderful news and went to the "love lock bridge" to place our lock (Scott had made before hand) where our love will forever be in history! We met on May 3, 2020 and our wedding date will mark 5 years together!!"
