Out with the old and on with the new! A day in the life for Forever Home Renovations & Handyman Services!

This Oswego Bathroom had a toilet leak and NEEDED new flooring. Our clients took advantage of a not so fun situation to give their space a fresh look!
In addition to a new toilet and flooring, we:
▪️Removed the tub, providing ample space to add storage
▪️Swapped out the vanity top for a more modern look
▪️Replaced the existing light fixtures & added a second GFCI into the vanity.
▪️Painted the bathroom in Sherwin-Williams Wishful Blue (SW6813)

Size matters when it comes to an HVAC system for your home. If you've recently added to your home, you might need a different-sized HVAC system to handle the new space. Consider the MERV rating: The Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) rating indicates how effective a filter is at capturing particles. A higher MERV rating means the filter is more effective at capturing smaller particles, but may also restrict airflow. If you have someone in your home who suffers from allergies, you may want a higher MERV rating.

Choose the right type of filter: There are different types of filters available, including fiberglass, pleated, and HEPA filters. Fiberglass filters are the most basic and affordable option, while pleated filters are more efficient at capturing smaller particles. HEPA filters are the most efficient option, but may not be compatible with all HVAC systems.

The Federal Government has phased out R-22 freon refrigerant. If your air conditioner or heat pump uses R-22, refilling the freon will cost over $700. If you get that done twice per year, you will spend around $1,400 per year just to maintain your older ac or heat pump unit! Spend that money on a new system instead. If you are paying high repair bills for leaking refrigerant or other issues, that is the telltale sign that you need to replace your system now!
