Seasons Greetings from Logansport! 🎄

The decorations are up on the Logansport City Building thanks to Logansport Utilities!

Christmas in the Park at Spencer Park begins Wednesday, Nov. 27 and continues thru January 5, with drive-thru nights Wednesday through Sunday and walk-thru nights Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Light Up Logansport Parade
Parade is this Friday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.
The new Christmas tree in front of The Depot at 4th and Melbourne will be lit after the parade.

Update: The lights are up and working!

Original post: We received a message from a resident today that state highway crews are working on the stoplight at Main Street Burlington Avenue that's been out for several weeks!

⚠️The Logansport Street Department will be wrapping up loose leaf pick up by starting their final pass through town on Monday, December 2, 2024 which is the Monday after Thanksgiving.

🍂 They have completed four passes through town currently and are finishing up their fifth. After this time, they will be prepping for winter weather as the weather has already started to turn cold and they need to be prepared in the event of ice or snow.

🍁Please rake your leaves to the curb but not into the street before the morning of December 2 to have them picked up by the leave vacs. After this time, leaves will need to be placed in lawn and leaf bags and placed by your trash container on your regular trash pick up day.

Congratulations! 👏

Congratulations to Danielle Gomez, winner of the 2025 Cass County Distinguished Young Women program. Gomez is a Cass County resident who attends Kokomo High School and will represent the county at state in February. Keirsten Nies of Pioneer was first runner-up and Maryn Zeck of Lewis Cass was second runner-up. Congrats to the 11 young women who competed in today's competition.

You have one more chance to see 'Matilda" on stage at McHale Performing Arts Center in Logansport today (11/24) at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students under the age of 18.

We posted an album of photos a couple days ago, and it's been fun to see others who've seen the show posting their reactions this weekend and encouraging others not to miss it!

The songs are catchy, the costumes and sets are vibrant, and the cast and crew are talented. They've been working for months to present this production, and today is your chance to support them!
