WE HAVE OUR OWN BEER!!!😍🍻 Our pals over at the Schoolcraft Brewery (conveniently located just a couple buildings over from MacGuffin HQ (and yes, Schoolcraft has a brewery) ) crafted this Black IPA in celebration of 40 years of The MacGuffin!! This beer is like the perfect combo of IPA bite with just a little of that malt sweetness.

While we very unfortunately can’t ship any to you, if you find yourself on campus, you can swing by the brewery and take home a four-pack for only 12 bones. Cheers!! https://www.schoolcraft.edu/dining/the-craft-grille

Today I found this $43 used copy of double issue vol. 19.1 and 19.2 from 2002 and learned that we're not charging enough for these books. Maybe this price makes sense as this issue has some lore:

β€’ It was the first of three double issues that we published, vol. 19.1–2 being followed by vol. 20.1–2 a year later in 2003, and vol. 21.1–2 a year after that in 20024.
β€’ It was the final issue helmed by founding editor Arthur Lindenberg and the first to introduce our second editor, Steven A. Dolgin.
β€’ Long-time poetry editor Carol Was pulled double-duty, serving as both the poetry editor for the two issues and the issue editor for 19.1.

Here's the link if you're interested in lining ThriftBooksVintage's pockets for this (probably) rare issue, although I'll still sell you one for seven bones if I've got any spare copies in the archives.

If you're in Michigan, keep your eyes on the road, but also on the billboards. Always good to see some art coopting spaces that are perennially reserved for ads.

Billboards highlighting works by some Michigan poets are planned to go up along some roads in the state this fall.
