Our Livingston Wendy's location and all HAZA Foods Wendy's locations in Houston have started a fundraiser TODAY through May 1 for the Audrii Cunningham Memorial Scholarship.

They are asking all customers to add $1 to their order. The proceeds are for the Audrii Cunningham Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Today, the Supreme Court of Texas dismissed a lawsuit filed against me, my parents and the newspaper company they own in Livingston by a former Polk County Assistant District Attorney.
In a 16-page opinion the court found that a story I wrote in June 2020 was substantially true and did not defame Tommy Coleman.

A long stressful nightmare is over.

Taylor Wade Garrett 31 years of age, from Mineral Wells Texas, has been positively identified as the suspect who recently failed to identify, resisted arrest and fled from Officer Cargill. Officer Cargill used due diligence and following many tips obtained by numerous Facebook followers, has positively identified Garrett. Warrants will soon be obtained on the mentioned charges. Earlier: People living behind the Pine Curtain, the 911 service is down throughout the 11 county area served by DETCOG.
The outage is not affecting text to 911 services.
So, revert to the 70s and dial first responders directly (if you can’t locate the number for your volunteer fire department or other agency, call your Sheriffs office)
