After posting about magnesium in my stories, I got so many questions about which type to take—so I created this guide to help! 🌿

When adding magnesium to your routine, it’s best to include multiple forms because each one supports different functions. Pair it with an electrolyte mix to maintain balance and avoid depleting potassium.

Did you know stress drains magnesium levels? These days, most of us are running on fumes—and low magnesium is linked to anxiety, irritability, poor sleep, thyroid health, blood sugar regulation, cortisol balance, hormone health, and more.

Common signs of deficiency include muscle cramps, headaches, fatigue, and brain fog. Magnesium is essential, yet our diets and lifestyles often don’t provide enough.

Start slow, listen to your body, and feel the difference! 💛 Which type of magnesium do you take?

Why recreate school at home when you’ve already decided that traditional school isn’t the right fit for your child? Homeschooling is all about finding what motivates them, making learning personal, and creating a space that works for them. It’s about spending time living life, learning through experiences, and embracing the freedom to explore what truly sparks their curiosity.

Have you heard of the term de-schooling? It’s basically the time you take to step back from the whole ‘school at home’ mindset. It’s about letting go of what you think learning should look like and giving yourself (and your kids) the freedom to figure out what works best for them. Think of it as a reset—no pressure, just space to explore, be curious, and enjoy learning in a more relaxed way.

Have you gone through a de-schooling process yourself?

Spending time in nature and letting kids have free play, including taking risks, is one of the best things for them. As an occupational therapist, I see how this kind of play is essential for developing coordination, balance, and motor skills. Activities like climbing, jumping, or balancing on uneven surfaces help with proprioception (awareness of their body in space) and sensory processing, which are key for overall development. Allowing them to take risks also gives them the chance to problem-solve and build emotional resilience as they face challenges. It’s not just about playing outside; it’s about giving them the space to grow, learn, and gain confidence in their own abilities. Plus, it’s amazing to watch how much more independent they get when they’re out there exploring on their own. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

My 11-year-old daughter wrote and published her first book. I can’t even begin to explain how proud I am of her. I have always been in awe of her creative mind. To witness her dedication to this project, from spending hours typing away to completing the process of independently publishing her work, just leaves me speechless.

Please help our friends. 🙏🏼

Laci and Jason Wornick have spent the past two years building their dream- a homestead in Texas, a place to raise their three beautiful children. Unfortunately, on May 25th, 2024 a tornado ripped directly through their property, destroying almost everything.

Laci’s parents were visiting when a hail storm came through. Once it settled down, they went outside to assess the damage. The sky seemed to have been clearing up, but then they received a tornado warning on their cell phones. Within seconds of this warning, the wind picked up and the temperature changed. Since they were living in their RV (while building up their land and prepping to build their home), they had to get out quickly.

Within seconds of the cell phone warning, they saw the tornado tearing up their property. They jumped in the truck and barely made it out.

When they returned, their RV was on its side, the schoolhouse twisted around, the loafing shed for the cows was gone. The greenhouse and chicken coop, gone.

Luckily, they found most of the animals, some of them wounded, but alive. They lost a cat, some chickens, and turkeys. All the hard work they put into this land was all destroyed.

I, a friend of Laci and Jason’s whom we met while traveling fulltime in our RV, am hoping to raise some money for the Wornicks to get them back on their feet, to buy a new RV, clothes, homeschooling supplies, aid for the animals, etc. Whatever you could do to help is greatly appreciated!

Thoughts and prayers to the Wornick family during this difficult time. ❤️

Our last hike in Sedona. Normally I share all the info about our hikes, but I’m saving this one for the locals. If you want to go on this one, “you need to know a guy” (said in my best Italian accent). We were lucky to have found friends and to share this special spot. 🫶🏼

2019 vs 2024.

For the past five years we have lived in our 42” fifth wheel toy hauler while traveling the country. My kids were six and four years old when we started, now eleven and nine.

Selling the camper has been bittersweet, super emotional, and a bit stressful as any move would be! But now it’s on to new adventures! Thanks for following along. 🫶🏼

More pictures of Sedona’s first snowfall. Progressing through the pictures, you can really see how quickly the snow melts here! So happy that we were able to make it on time to see all the magic. 💫

What’s your favorite sunset hike in Sedona?

We hiked Keyhole Cave at sunset and it did not disappoint! If you are planning on this hike, I highly recommend downloading the map ahead of time! It’s a short one, but it’s not well marked. Also, it is pretty steep near the base of the cave with loose gravel. Thankfully we had the help of local friends who have done it before! Thanks for showing us this beautiful hidden gem of Sedona!
