Good Morning,

I wanted to post on FB that I had a heart attack and will undergo major bypass surgery tomorrow morning.(Thursday ) I humbly ask for your thoughts and prayers. That all goes well and there won't be any problems or unforeseen issues, And that God will guide the heart surgeons hands and the surgery will be a complete success and that I'll have a speedy recovery. Thank you All so much. 🙏😊

Letting folks know that second harvest will be dropping off a semi load of food here this morning at 10 o’clock and we will be distributing food at the first Methodist Church here at 311 Ohio Ave. S. starting at 10 until food runs out. WQHL 98.1 is back on the air! Thank you all SVEC workers and all who left their families in Florida and any other state to come here and help us and surrounding counties, you are definitely worth your pay and overtime/ emergency risk pay! we WQHL will announce any and all important messages from EOC and any emergency messages that need to be broadcast, food water shelter etc. etc. If there's anything that you the public has that would and will help others please PM me. Hey everyone Stevie D here from the big 98 WQHL. I am at the station I will be here live on the Air until and hopefully we won't lose power. With Hurricane Helene updates if you lose power hopefully you won't but if you do and hopefully we won't. I'll be able to give you updates on your radio in your home or in your vehicle I'm getting up to the minute updates from the EOC here in Suwannee county and other emergency personnel as well. so please tell your friends stay tuned to the big 98 if you lose power at your home you'll be able to get updates from us here at the Big 98. Prayers for all of us, you and your family please stay safe please be wise

Attention all!!! the storm that is now named tropical storm Helene more than likely to become a extremely powerful Hurricane, and appears to be on a track to come our way. We here at WQHL 98.1 will be on the air as long as it takes and as long as we can without losing power, hopefully we wont!. We'll have updates as they become available. We will have an update around 1:30 pm today.
