a photo dump from the past few weeks + findings:
1. prioritizing things that bring you joy is important and it is valid.
2. “Love others so radically they wonder why.”
3. bread tastes better when it’s shaped like mickey
4. self discipline (as a concept) has had a negative connotation for me for years because of the toxic “grind” culture that i’ve seen online. i’ve been working on my relationship with the idea of it, and seeing it in a new light. for me, right now, this looks like dragging my butt out of bed in the mornings for pilates. it’s been a while since i’ve felt proud of myself, and having that sense of self back is empowering.
5. new method of blocking??? ++ we start filming this weekend!!! first ever short film and i couldn’t be more excited.
6. so many more people play mtg than i thought???
7. rain won’t kill you, but walking through muddy terrain in heels might.
8. I SAW MY FIRST WATERFALL! and it just so happened to be Sméagol’s fishing pond… he deserved better and i’ll die on that hill.

Deadpool & Wolverine. July 26th. You & me. It’s a date.

Still in awe at the cleverly-humorous, perfectly-nostalgic movie that I watched last night. Ryan Reynolds never failed to make me laugh, and Hugh Jackman seamlessly continued his legacy as Logan.

This film is a love letter to those who grew up on the 2000s Marvel installments, and as someone who did, I’ll continue to cry at the fact that I got to experience this film, for the first time, surrounded by the individuals that created that magic. If you need me, I’ll be crying on the plane home.
