We recently received a call for a premature infant needing a specific car seat in order to discharge from the hospital. Our local distribution programs do not provide infant carriers. Ooo don’t mind me I’m just reminiscing about the amazing HerHaven Rise & Shine Brunch! The theme “Let’s Strive Together” brought women from all walks of life together for good vibes, laughter, meaningful discussions, and delicious food. It was also the perfect occasion to wear my affirmation tie from ! We shared stories, tackled pressing issues, and played games that fostered connection and broke down barriers. I’ll share a recap video soon, but for now, let’s celebrate empowering each other every step of the way! 💋🎙️

From “Table Talk” to the EPIC “NewlyFriends Game,” to vibing with DJ Art, and shopping with @jewelzbyobwayne the energy was unmatched. We dove deep into conversations on supporting Black and Brown women and girls, and explored how our community can truly make a lasting impact. It was a day of empowerment, and connection.
