Five years ago today, the Dougherty and McQuary families lost Nancy Elizabeth McQuary Dougherty (left in photo) to leukemia after a struggle of two-plus years. She fought it hard. We miss her every day. (Thanks to her good friend Jaquita for the picture from the late 1980s.)
