IF YOU HAVE FAMILY AND/OR FRIENDS WHO LIVE IN OR NEAR OKLAHOMA AND/OR FAYETTEVILLE, FORT SMITH....PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THAT THIS WILL BE A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION THE WEATHER COMING MAY BE TORNADOS LONG TRACK....BIG HAIL AND HAS AN OVERNIGHT TIMING AS WELL. LAST TIME WE HAD A SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WAS THE TORNADO OUTBREAK MARCH 31, 2023
Severe thunderstorms are expected today and through the weekend from the Missouri Valley and Midwest to the central and southern Plains. All severe hazards are possible including the potential for strong tornadoes and very large hail.
THURSDAY/THURSDAY NIGHT SEVERE WEATHER—Severe weather will be possible across Arkansas on Thursday into Thursday night with damaging winds and large hail as the primary threats, but an isolated tornado across northeastern Arkansas cannot be ruled out.
Hopefully the tornado threat is low for Central AR. Keep weather wise

Threat for severe weather late today for much of the state. Severe storms should be more numerous in the medium risk area.
⚠️UPDATE: More of Arkansas has had the severe weather risk upgraded for Thursday afternoon.
⚠️THREATS: Large hail (some very large in isolated storms), damaging winds, and a few isolated tornadoes are all possible Thursday afternoon and evening.
⚠️TIMING: The peak severe risk is 1-8 PM Thursday.
⚠️LOCATION: The highest severe weather risk is across western and northern Arkansas, but the metro area and the entire state needs to be aware into the evening hours.
After 8pm the severe threat will become more isolated. Storms will be so numerous that the main threat becomes flash flooding

Seems likely that severe weather will be a possibility on Thursday.
The latest machine learning guidance is really highlighting southwest Arkansas.
This matches up to the latest model guidance too.
Large hail and damaging winds will probably be the main concerns, but it is tornado season folks.
Just something to watch for now.

GROSS WEATHER, enjoy the conditions today because we go downhill soon.
Waves of rainfall and thunderstorms are likely starting early tomorrow (Thursday). This will linger through Saturday morning.

We might deal with some severe storms on Friday, mainly across western Arkansas it seems.
