🌟📚 Hey everyone! As an African-American, adult, male author, living with dyslexia, I want to take a moment to share something close to my heart: the power of reading! It's easy to feel discouraged when words don’t always flow the way we’d like, but I believe reading is a fundamental skill that opens doors, sparks imagination, and inspires change, especially for our young people today. I wish that I would have been encouraged more as a child. Maybe I WOULD NOT HAVE KEPT MY DYSLEXIA A SECRET FOR MOST OF MY LIFE!

Every story has the power to shape lives, and I encourage everyone—especially youth—to dive into books, explore new worlds, and cultivate their voices. Your challenges do not define you; they can fuel your passion and creativity. Let’s celebrate diversity in literature and uplift one another in this journey.
