𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 only spent one day recording Darth Vader's voice-over for Star Wars (A New Hope) at Goldwyn Studios. However, he refused to be credited until the release of Return of the Jedi and would even tell people it wasn't him when asked.

While others have voiced the character over the years he has returned to the role numerous times, but for Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Darth Vader voice was created by A.I. This was done the same way Mark Hamill's voice has been replicated for The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. The reason they are doing it this way instead of having them record the lines is that their voices have changed over the years. The next time you watch Rogue One, pay attention to his voice and compare it to A New Hope.
