Picked of the 1st win of the season tonight and qualified for the all star race at super nats at Saltcity Racing in Hutchinson Kansas!

Car was on a rail all night. Small minor change for the feature put Tim out front for every lap! It’s nice to get back into the groove of things after a rough start!

Onto Salina Speedway for some Saturday racing!

We’re headed for you Kansas!!
Ready to see our friends and race some of our favorite tracks!

Very few shirts left on hand and pullback cars grab them while you can!
After our last outing, we’re really ready to see this car go back to work! Zane got new Penskes on the car, Dustin got the new pull bar to us and we’re ready to roll.

Weather looks beautiful this weekend, let’s hope it stays that way!

Night 1 of the All Star Shootout we will mark it up as a success!

After many nights of dnf to the start of our season, the car and Tim finally had a good night.

Heat race: Tim drove it up to 4th or 5th with 2 laps to go and locked up the breaks going into 4 and caused himself to spin, but got it rolling before the yellow was thrown and with the caution coming out and it being because of him he thought he had to exit, but he got rolling before so he could’ve stayed on, just a misunderstanding on his end. So that buried us in the b.

B feature: top 3 transfer to a, Tim started 8th in b4. With the right and small adjustments in the pits and getting collect in a wreck he was able to drive up to the last transfer spot. He drove a clean and great race considering the many restarts!

A feature: started dead last, and went green to checkered for 25 laps to finish 16th and be the hard charger, just started too far back to make a good charge to the front. The car was moving even in traffic, woulda love to seen a caution to see how much further he woulda moved up, but no cautions and a clean a feature was awesome also! The track was awesome after all the rain we’ve received here in Oklahoma, top in 1&2 and bottom in 3&4 so it was whoever could get there quicker! For as many minor trouble we’ve had, this is a good start!

Huge thank you goes out to:
John Somers for letting Tim use his transmission and driveshaft, come to find out we don’t think the transmission is the actual problem! But without him, we wouldn’t have gotten to run last night! Y’all make sure and give his business a follow Somers plasma design.
Brett Berry for the tire for the a, we didn’t think we would get to race so we didn’t go and buy any tires!
Chad Reidfor changing his car over to come race with us for a change! Even though it’s a pain, he still does it every chance he can!
John and Nicky Webb for allowing us to race night 1 of the tour at sos.

Hey race friends:

If anyone knows of anyone having a Bert transmission laying around in standard length they would rent out for the week starting tomorrow, please let us know.

Ours went to the shop today and won’t be done till next week.

If this doesn’t explain the year we’ve been having nothing will..

Racing is hard, especially racing with the best of the best up north! We have had so many little things go wrong to end our nights, it’s stuff that no amount of maintenance can prevent. We will regroup and head north in a few weeks for Nebraska and Kansas.

Yes, I will address it since we have had so many calls and messages. We got word yesterday as we parked, that we received a year ban from the local track. do we think we should have been notified 6 months prior or 24 hours before when we registered absolutely, but we wasn’t so we took it and went on down the road. Are we mad? No, there’s nothing to be mad about. It is what it is, we can’t change it. We take full responsibility for what happened and the consequences that came with it. Now it’s just time to move forward. We had planned on running last year to see about changes that Zane made to the car, and get ready to run the tour.
With that being said, no we will not be on the tour due to the ban because we are not even allowed at the special events. I don’t think we need to explain anything else, everyone knows what happened. But with that being said, don’t be fake and try to text or call to act concerned about our program, if your in our corner be in but don’t be 2 sided.

Night 1 had its issues but they were worked out and we was able to get the carb back working how it should! Huge thanks goes out to Zane, Jordan grabouski , and competition carbs for answering at 9:30 at night!
11th place finish, which is better than a dns which we thought was going to happen!
The owner let us on the track for over an hour after the races ended and we got some good laps! Now we head to DeVilbiss Racing Chassis in marshalltown for the rest of the weekend!

We wish we wouldn’t have gotten rained out back home last week, so we found this issue and had it fixed before hitting the track last night, but roll with the punches while your gone away!
