We only went out 3 times, car felt and did exactly what it should! Ready to see what it can do tonight.
Not enough words to say how proud of this little guy we are!
Our main goal this weekend was to make the A feature in both J1 & J2, he has been struggling in J1 and doing so good in J2, which is weird because he’s going faster. None the less he did the dang thing!
Thursday & Fridays heats put Kam in the position to start front row of J1, (momma may have cried a time or 2 from just how proud I was of him accomplishing his first goal!) J2 he started front of the B, he drove his little booty off to lead all but 3 laps but still transferred to the A, that put him starting dead last in J2 A.
Saturday: Tim made the decision after some talks with Ryan and Jared and Chase to scratch his J2 feature to save his kart for the J1 feature since he started front row. It was a good decision considering the wrecks, we more than likely would have been involved in!
J1 feature: Kam was so ready and confident, momma on the other hand was a ball of nervous and sick to my stomach most of the day.
With the help from all our crew Kam took the lead after falling back to 3rd and got taken out on a restart, and they put him in the back. one of their rules is you stop and you go to the back no matter if you’re the leader or not. We agree they have to protect the leader in those situations, but it was a good learning lesson for Kam, and he handled it well!
It was such a fun weekend watching all the boys dominate! We’re so proud of them all. We couldn’t do it without the crew we got hands down!
Kam has a such a bright future thanks to all our friends who have taken him in and taught all of us what he needs!
This weekend we will be pulling just 15 mins down the road to Purcell to give that track a go! And we have a dance recital we can’t miss for the princess!
