What a voice! Jesse Colin Young dies at 83.

Jesse Colin Young of the Youngbloods has died at 83 years old. The singer-songwriter and guitarist performed in Youngbloods and was known for immortalizing the song "Get Together" at the end of the Woodstock era.

Sad to report that David Johansen of The New York Dolls has passed away.

David Johansen has died at the age of 75 after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, PEOPLE can confirm. Johansen was known for his work as the lead singer of the New York Dolls and his cabaret career as Buster Poindexter.

Singer Robert John, who had a No. 1 hit with Sad Eyes in 1979, died in February 2025.
