It's been almost a year since we started our journey to learn to produce a short film. I thought it was time to post for all to see. Our first attempt. And yes, we continue from here. After learning a bit, from the film festivals, and having such a great team and support, we will attempt our scripting skills to provide producers a script for a miniseries, the book and the proof of concept. And yes, we have absolutely no idea what we are doing. ha. And how fun is that.

Our first step towards a feature film was to create a short film.  Our short film shot in October 2022, as we experienced the amazing colors in Northwest Arkansas to showcase the film.

Endangered is getting some press. Thanks to NWA Democrat Gazette.

It must have been a strange courtship for Sheila Webb Pierson and Jim Burroughs. They spent at least part of it writing a novel about a skull Burroughs found in a cave in the Ozarks.

Author, Executive Co Producer, Screen Play Writer, Learner. I hope everyone enjoys our story. I have enjoyed writing Endangered in the Ozarks, the novel. And now, I get to enjoy learning to produce a short film. The team has organically gathered and couldn’t be more supportive and creative. I feed off of their knowledge and get’er done spirit. I will forever be grateful to all.

I want to thank and appreciate this man who tackled making a short film because, one night we said, why not.
Jim is a streams biologist, chef, all around motivator and supporter, organizer extraordinaire.

I wish I could write the words better. But simply, this film would never have been started or completed without his vision and encouragement. Thank you and love you!

We want to welcome our director: Tor Skogen
Tor spent the majority of his childhood on the Gulf of Mexico in Sarasota, FL before relocating with his family to Northwest Arkansas in 2013. At 16, he found his passion for photography and entered his work in several local competitions. Shortly after this, in an effort to improve his skills and master the art of capturing the perfect shot, Tor began his career at What My Eyes Have Seen Studio. It didn’t take long for him to start dabbling in film. This curiosity led him to study at John Brown University for the 2018 school year, where he grew to appreciate the subtle nature of film and photography. Today, Tor is still at What my Eyes Have Seen where he heads the wedding film department and works in commercial video.
