There have been many Reports of large Hummer Swarms along the Gulf Coast.

Louisiana, feeding ~80 hummingbirds, using 4lb of sugar a day with 11 feeders 😊❤️They have me on GPS... lol this is my 6th year for the migration.

🍁FALL MIGRATION HUMMER HOT-SPOTS IN MISSISSIPPI🍁
There have been many Reports of large numbers of Hummer Swarms in Mississippi & along the Gulf Coast.

I’m located in Mississippi. I’ve been feeding the birds for about 4 years now. Every year they seem to increase in numbers. However, I only see about 10 during the Spring migration.
To me, it seems the hummingbirds are migrating about 3 weeks earlier than years past. -Cathy Guest Myers

🌸Hummingbirds have started the Mighty Migration South to their Winter Homes in Mexico & Central America. Leaving the Northern Higher Latitudes 1st. There could be a few late Stragglers coming your way! You could see some Hummingbirds @ your Feeders through October & possibly early November. Most likely, juveniles still finding the way on their 1st Migration.

Keeping Feeders up will not delay Migration. The late Stragglers will need to Fuel-up to continue their long Journey South.
