Bobbi Shaw, a Liberty resident and the assistant to the president at Park University was on Jan. 14 episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark” as part of the “Stump Mark” segment on the national morning talk show. As part of the segment, Mark Consuelos had to guess which statement from Shaw was true, either “I danced with Weird Al Yankovic” or “I have completed six half-marathons.”

"I don’t think anybody does it whose heart isn’t in it and doesn’t want to be there. I mean, almost all of us, we do the job because we just love the job,” Liberty police officer Zach Morrison said of being called a hero. “It’s not for the money or for anything else like that. It’s not for the labels or to be noticed.”

Liberty police are now seeking the public's help to ID the driver of the vehicle that cause the wreck. The suspect vehicle is a white SUV. Those with information are asked to call Liberty police at 439-4701 or the Tips Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS (8477).
