We take a look at the first Lexington location of longtime gallerist John Hockensmith’s gallery, which features a cumulation of his career history. Read the full article on Hockensmith and his journey below — and make plans to visit the gallery’s emporium-style pop-up market featuring original art and prints by Henry Faulkner and other friends of Hockensmith Gallery, which opened Nov. 14.

There’s a new gallery in town, though its namesake is familiar to many in the local art world. Respected gallerist John Hockensmith opened the first Lexington location of Hockensmith Fine Art Editions in March on Jefferson Street.
