Bonsoir! Bonjour!
Iām Mr. Tux! Happy Halloween from my friend Ghosty and moi (me).
Weāre roaming around Joseph-Beth Booksellers at Lexington Green, Lexington, Kentucky, today. We want to invite you to come see MOI (ME) on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Kentucky Book Fair. My creators, Rebecca Suter Lindsay (author) and Deborah Slone (illustrator), will be selling moi! Please, please come rescue me and take me home with you. I donāt want to go back to being Pipsqueak, a chat de la rue (alley cat) eating poisson (fish) heads and mice. Beurk! (Yuck!) Andāoh no!āEl Cidre.
I come with a French glossary. I bet that plastic tuxedo cat cat doesnāt have one of those. LOL! That plastic dude is always imitating me. I just wish someone would put him back in his box for a timeout.
BTW, if you get hungry at the book fair, you can grab a bite at the Bronte Cafe. They may have brioche or baguettes and fromage (cheese! Yummy!) My favorite is crevette (shrimp). Chapeaux off to the chef! (Use my glossary. š)
See you there! You may need to look for MOI and my creators out by the lake in the childrenās book tent. Ask the nice volunteers to help if you have trouble finding us.
Merci Beaucoup!
Mr. Tux
P.S I would look great in your home! Please just donāt try to pull me apart and put me in a box with the plastic cat šāā¬ dude. I do look very handsome on a book shelf.
Mr. Tux visits Joseph-Beth Booksellers to check it out and to invite you to the Kentucky Book Fair. Mr. Tux makes a new friend, Ghosty. Ghosty.
