Who Ate My Cactus? is perfect for young readers, parents, and teachers to share. This humorous whodunnit explores the ideas of sharing and how your own actions affect others. The book is charmingly illustrated and includes fun facts about ā€œThe Meal,ā€ ā€œThe Detective,ā€ and ā€œThe Suspects.ā€ From a STEM perspective Who Ate My Cactus? will spark discussions of ecosystems, food webs, wildlife habitat needs and carrying capacity.

ā€œChildren will enjoy the journey through a desert ecosystem as they learn about the plants and animals found there. [Who Ate My Cactus?] is not only fun, but it is an accurate representation of desert life.ā€ Debra M. Hill, Fish and Wildlife Biologist, Albuquerque, NM.

Atlanta, Georgia, Writer Frank Reddy to Publish New Novel with Shadelandhouse Modern Press of Lexington, Kentucky, in 2026. Titled Ghost in the Grove, the novel is his fourth book. Reddy is also the author of Cofer Woods (2022), Imminent Domain (2021), and Eyes on the Island (2016), his critically acclaimed debut novelā€¦ā€œA kudzu-spun tapestry of gothic grotesquerie, Ghost in the Grove weaves in the likes of such gritty southern voices as Harry Crews, Donald Ray Po***ck and Michael McDowell. Frank Reddy adds an extra thread of his own distinctive lyricism to the mix, making this novel one hell of a humid humdinger,ā€ according to author and Marvel Comics writer, Clay McLeod Chapman, recently featured in the New York Times Book Review (January 24, 2025).
