WOODSONGS NEW HOME - The Benefits of the Scottish Rite Concert Hall

So many have written and asked why we chose the historic Scottish Rite as the new WoodSongs broadcast home. Aside from the huge free parking lot, 300 concert seat setting, the vaulted wooden ceilings, the magnificent acoustics, and the wonderful attributes for the crew and visiting artists to work in, there is this:

The Scottish Rite is located in one of the most family friendly and tourist friendly areas of central Kentucky, off Southland Drive in Lexington. It is surrounded by music stores, cafés, restaurants, and more.

We always envisioned WoodSongs on Mondays to be a fun, family friendly, and inexpensive evening for music fans ... and the Scottish Rite helps us return to that vision

WoodSongs is a live audience celebration of America's musical front porch and the artists who make it, its performance and conversation, syndicated on radio and TV, lights-camera-and action. It's happy and fun.
