KDA produced “Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame” today delivered. Powerful tribute and testimony to special individuals of Bourbon. Pic 1 (Back Row) Corky Taylor , Steve Nally on behalf of Peter Loftin, Ken Lewis . Sitting: Elmer Lucille Allen (left) , Dee Ford . Seeing the camaraderie first hand was so genuine and unlike anything you’ll find in other industries.

Miss Allen is 93 years, the first black chemist at B-F. She’s a treasure, as vibrant as anyone. Fred Noe of Beam spoke honoring Jimmy Russell on his 70th year at . That was a moment, let me tell y’all. Dee Ford’s special journey through hospitality as she is Homeplace Director at Angel’s Envy. What hospitality truly means, how it embodies this industry. Gracious host Wally Dant of @ logstilldistillery and the beautiful venue (that’s a must see). Corky Taylor’s heartfelt journey to restore his family legacy at Peerless. Peter Loftin’s vision to create a large scale (essentially MGP) here in Kentucky and “Napafy” it via . Ken Lewis went from school teacher (English top of class at Michigan then Harvard), to retailer (Party Source) to starting , one of the most successful distilleries of the last decade. It was a day🥃🥃
