Preserving the free-thinking legacy of our community, we work to provide you with the knowledge, tools and skills to exercise your right to creative expression in the 21st century.
LexMedia is a membership based, non-profit community access television station serving the town of Lexington, Massachusetts.
We provide local cable coverage on three channels: LPTV (Public Channel), which broadcasts locally produced programming, news, and community events; LETV (Education Channel), broadcasts school events, sports, and educational programs for al lifelong learners of all ages; and LGTV (Government Channel), which covers Board of Selectmen, School Committee, and other town-related meetings. All LexMedia channels can be streamed live via our website. Our channels can be found on Comcast, RCN, Verizon. RCN provides three additional HD channels that mirror the public, education and government channels in High Definition.
LexMedia is dedicated to bringing a voice to our community and providing an outlet for creative expression to the residents of Lexington, Massachusetts. We are committed to creativity, technology, and freedom of speech, and aim to encourage media production by residents of all skill and experience levels. We provide television studio and field equipment for member use, as well as free training from our expert staff to educate, inspire, and support our members. As a member at LexMedia, you have access to our entire media center, which houses everything you will need to bring your creative vision to life. Learn how to produce a television program at our in-house studio, create a web short using state of the art camera equipment, or record a podcast in our brand new recording studio!
