in racing history on December 16, 2000... POINT GIVEN won the G1 Hollywood Futurity by a length for trainer Bob Baffert with Gary Stevens aboard!

In his 3yo campaign, Point Given went on to win the G2 San Felipe Stakes, G1 Santa Anita Derby, G1 Preakness Stakes, G1 Belmont Stakes, G1 Haskell Invitational and was retired after his 3 1/2 length victory in the G1 Travers Stakes.

In 2001, he was named the Horse of the Year and Eclipse Award Champion 3yo C**t. Point Given was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010.
