So there’s a new social media app in town…

Threads is a new instagram ( meta ) app that is pretty similar to twitter, I’ve been on it trying to figure it out and since the app is still in progress it doesn’t have much other than just posting thoughts. It is easy to grow as most anyone can see your posts but community building can be limited, at least until they add a “following” page.

Will update when we all get more information about the app and it’s updates!

I’m more active on instagram ( hint hint wink wink ) but I figured I’d post this on here as well because it’s still useful information!

Your bio is the “first impression” of your account, so be sure it’s optimized to its best ability!

I have a personal creator page where I like to post content and test out different ways of making videos.

I have had quite a few videos go “viral” and I have figured out the reasoning why.

1. I used a trending sound that at the time was under 5k uses

2. I used short clips that included movement in all of them to keep the viewer entertained

3. I used specific hashtags to reach the target audience I wanted to reach

Now, doing these 3 things will not *guarantee* you to have a viral reel, but it will certainly help out. Not all reels will be hits, but with consistency, you will get some good ones 🙂

Growing your social media is a lot of work, and most times, people don’t have time for it.
