This is what grief is.
A hole ripped through the very fabric of your being.
The hole eventually heals along the jagged edges that remain. It may even shrink in size.
But that hole will always be there.
A piece of you always missing.
For where there is deep grief, there was great love.
Don’t be ashamed of your grief.
Don’t judge it.
Don’t suppress it.
Don’t rush it.
Rather, acknowledge it.
Lean into it.
Listen to it.
Feel it.
Sit with it.
Sit with the pain. And remember the love.
This is where the healing will begin.

Together we could really help a lot of people! What's on your heart today? ❤

I had one friend that donated to this worthy cause. I have to say I am surprised and don't really know what to make of it so I would just like to say thank you Jackie Eason! Our money together was able to purchase this green urn to be donated. I will check around with the local funeral homes to see who would get the most use out of it. I know that a family will be so grateful to be able to have one to borrow from the funeral home just as I was when I ran into that situation with my daughter. This page is still taking donations and would greatly appreciate any help that might push us towards our goal of retrieving a mother's ashes so that we can give them to her daughter. $3, $5 or $10 can go a long way and do a lot of good if we all come together to help others. God bless!

I don't like to feel so discouraged but I really thought this page would do at least a little better than it has because as of now I don't see us being able to help the daughter retrieve her mother's ashes from the funeral home. Hopefully will be able to at least purchase and urn to donate to a local Funeral Home for others to borrow if they're in need. That's what happened to me when my Jordan died and I was extremely grateful to the family that had donated the urn I used!

Not yet but this page is going to become a charity drive to help people that have lost loved ones (hence the name the name "We were") I have been Witness to so many that have had to worry about and do without the things they need for funeral services while they are grieving. I have witnessed these things after being victim to them as well. When something happens to you whether good or bad you tend to notice more so that same thing happening to others.I believe it's a trigger that God put in us so that we would love, care and help.
I'm not the best are very experienced and making Pages like this but I feel led to give it my best shot! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I intend for this page to be 100% legit so I'm looking into opening an account and talkin to my CPA so we can do this right. Please be patient with me while I learn as I go. Myself and anyone who reacts to this page must be driven to help dissolve some of these horrible feelings and realities that those grieving may not have control of.
